Supporting the Local Community
As the port has developed, so has the town of Luba itself. Luba Freeport is aware of its social responsibilities in a town where it is the largest single employer,
and has created a support programme to assist the local community.
Currently the programme includes:
– LFL sponsored nursery school
– Supply of medicines to local hospital
– Supply of rubbish skips
– Disposal of non-industrial local waste
– Sponsorship of local sporting events
– Fire intervention throughout the region
